To ανταλλακτήριο Bitstamp ολοκλήρωσε πετυχημένα την προσπάθεια χρηματοδότησης μέσω της πλατφόρμας επενδύσεων Bank To The Future εξασφαλίζοντας 2,382,161 εκατομμύρια δολάρια υπερκαλύπτοντας τέσσερις φορές τον αρχικό του στόχο.

Όπως αναφέρουν σε αυτή την χρηματοδότηση έλαβαν μέρος 441 επενδυτές ενώ τα χρήματα θα χρησιμοποιηθούν στην περαιτέρω ανάπτυξη του ανταλλακτήριου.

 

Over USD 2.3 Million Raised, More Than Doubling Bitstamp’s Funding Goal

LUXEMBOURG (26 January 2017) – Today Bitstamp, one of the longest-standing digital currency exchanges and the leading Europe-based digital currency exchange concluded its first ever online investment round on BnkToTheFuture. The USD 2,382,161 invested exceeded Bitstamp’s funding target by 98%, and was just under 4 times the minimum required investment of USD 600,000.

The funds raised will be used to speed up Bitstamp’s product development and rollout process, which has already started bearing fruit. XRP trading (paired with USD and EUR) was launched last week and the daily and monthly limits for bitcoin credit card purchases have now been increased, giving Bitstamp customers even more purchasing options. Along with Bitstamp’s ongoing efforts to bring digital assets closer to institutional clients, these represent just the first of several exciting product launches and add-ons the exchange has scheduled for this year.

With over 441 investors, Bitstamp’s funding round caught the imagination of vast swathes of the digital asset world. “We are honoured to be in our sixth year serving our community,” stated Bitstamp’s CEO, Nejc Kodrič. “And we are very grateful for the high levels of interest shown in investing in our exchange.” On the success of Bitstamp’s investment round, Simon Dixon, CEO of BnkToTheFuture confirmed, “It has been one of the most successful in BnkToTheFuture’s history.
